As second in command to the CEO, you will support the CEO through building positive working relationships with employees at all levels within the organization. The ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions is essential. You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You are an excellent problem solver/creative thinker with a “can-do” attitude, being proactive and resourceful.

COO Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Designing and implementing business operations such as coordinating and leading relationship with warehouse 3PL for superior customer experience and order fulfillment
- Establishing policies that promote company culture and vision
- Overseeing and leading day-to-day operations of the company such as leading Team Huddles, sales, and operations meetings (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)
- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Reviews and interpret financial documents for informed decision making
- Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination
- Works with the CEO and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
- Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
- Assist and support CEO in fundraising activities
- Manage and support relationships with key partners/vendors
Preferred
- MBA and/or 10+ years of experience in a similar position or equivalent
- Consumer Goods and Healthcare experience
- Experience growing consumer goods company from seed stage to series A
- Strong financial / accounting acumen
